A Slow Travel Company NZ day tour involves discovering these places, as well as stopping at the best art and craft galleries, deli’s, shops, wineries and farmers markets, meeting with local artists and artisans, enjoying a leisurely lunch or dinner at some of Auckland’s best cafes and restaurants, taking a little exercise and enjoying wonderful scenery and views along the way.
Tours will involve a little bit of walking, a little bit of driving, a little bit of shopping and a lot of enjoying.
Tours are for small groups and there will be time to make new friendships. You will feel like you are out for the day with a group of good friends rather than on an organised tour.

What nicer way to create wonderful memorable moments than to enjoy a relaxing picnic with delicious food & wine and plenty of time to savour your beautiful surroundings.
We spend time meandering along country roads, stopping at artisan food producers and country stores. Or we will browse in some of the cities best deli's and food stores to gather up produce and products for our own Gourmet Picnic Hamper. The emphasis will be on NZ grown and produced. Then we take our time to enjoy a leisurely alfresco picnic in an idyllic "secret spot".
